Donald Trump's adviser former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said yesterday (Tuesday) that Donald Trump should not participate in the future debates against Hillary Clinton unless he is promised by the moderator that only “fair questions” will be asked.

According to many political analysts, Clinton won the first debate. However, following the debate, both the campaigns issued announcements claiming victory. Giuliani, who is one of Trump’s advisers, accused the moderator of being unfair and preferring the Democratic candidate.

Giuliani said that NBC's Lester Holt should be embarrassed. He said that Holt was wrong when he argued with Trump about facts that the Republican candidate presented especially in regards to crime rates and his remarks about the war in Iraq.

“If I were Donald Trump, I wouldn’t participate in another debate unless I was promised that a journalist would act like a journalist and not an incorrect, ignorant fact-checker,” said Giuliani. “If you wonder why Donald Trump thinks that the press is a left-wing basically oriented group, Lester Holt proved it tonight.”

However, Trump did not express that he was unhappy with Holt. The Republican candidate said that Holt did “a great job.” In an interview with CNN, Trump said: “Honestly, I thought he did a great job. I thought [the questions] were very fair.”
