Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s exclusive interview with Channel 2 News caused Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Paul Ryan to attack her and even demand that she apologize to Donald Trump. During the interview, Clinton said ISIS is praying, “Please, Allah, make Trump president of America.”

“I think it’s profoundly wrong,” said Ryan in an NBC interview, hinting that the Democratic nominee should apologize to Trump. “I don’t think it’s right to say that. That’s demagoguery scare tactics. Hillary Clinton is instilling fear.”

During the Channel 2 News interview, Clinton was asked about the war against ISIS and what she thought about the phrase “war against radical Islam” that Obama has refrained from utilizing. In response, she said: “We have made a judgement based on a lot of research. We have come to understand that bringing Islam into the definition of our enemy actually serves the purpose of the radical jihadists and there is a lot of evidence of that.”

Clinton added: “An article just today by Matt Olson, the former Director of National Counterterrorism Center makes this point where he quoted ISIS spokespeople rooting for Donald Trump’s victory because Trump has made Islam and Muslims part of his campaign and basically the jihadists see this as a great gift. They are saying, ‘Please, Allah, make Trump president of America.’”

Clinton continued to differentiate herself from her rival Trump, promising to fight terrorist organizations with full force: “I’m not interested in giving aid and comfort to their evil ambitions. I want to defeat them. I want to end their reign of terror. I don’t want them to feel as though they can be getting more recruits because of our politics.”

“We're going to intensify our air campaign, more support on the ground to the Arab and Kurdish fighters,” added Clinton. "We have got to specifically target al-Baghdadi. We need to go after the head just like we finally got bin Laden. We need leverage to deal with the Russians and the Iranians and the Syrians whether it’s a no-fly zone or some other tool.”
