China and Iran conduct joint naval drill in Strait of Hormuz

Iran and China launched a joint naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday. The Chinese ships that are participating in the drill docked at an Iranian port on Thursday.

Iran and China are currently conducting a joint naval drill in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). The Iranian news agency reported that the exercise began on Sunday.

According to the report, the Chinese navy brought two destroyers, a logistic ship and a helicopter to the Persian Gulf waters for the drill. The ships docked at Iran’s Bandar Abbas port on Thursday ahead of the exercise.
