California: Thousands block streets protesting Trump

5,000 protestors blocked major LA roads in protest of Donald Trump’s victory. The mainly Latino demonstrators shouted against Trump: “We will not live in fear.”

After hours of marching in Manhattan, demonstrations spread to LA this morning (Thursday) as thousands are protesting Donald Trump’s victory. The protestors blocked roads, chanted slogans against President-elect Donald Trump and are marching while holding signs that read “We will not live in fear.”

Since last night, thousands of Americans have set out to the streets of several US cities in order to protest, including New York and LA. According to CNN reports, most of the protestors in LA are young Latinos who marched past LA City Hall. During the demonstrations, some of the young protestors set fire to a piñata bearing Trump’s image.
