The North Korean military has reportedly displayed new types of ballistic missiles in a Saturday parade marking the 105th birthday of its late founder Kim Il-Sung.

The isolated dictatorship's state-run TV showed what appeared to be several KN-08 and KN-14 missiles rolled out on trucks at the parade. Analysts say such missiles may be able to reach targets as far as the United States.

Tal Inbar, a chief researcher at the Fisher Air and Space Institute, said the missiles "appear to be the size of intercontinental ballistic missiles which could potentially cover the entire area of the US."

North Korea warned on Friday that "if the US wages reckless provocation against us, our revolutionary power will instantly counter with an annihilating strike," in retaliation to the Trump administration's recent insinuations that it might be considering military action against it.

Donald Trump recently tweeted that "the problem of North Korea" would be "taken care of." "If China decides to help, that would be great. If not, we will solve the problem without them," he wrote.
