North Korean television has released photographs of its largest artillery exercise in the background of increased tensions with the US.

In the background of increased tensions between the US and North Korea as well as the deployment of an advanced anti-missile defense system in South Korea, photographs have been released of North Korea’s largest ever artillery exercise.

The photographs show thousands of tanks practicing a combined attack together with helicopters and fighter jets.

The exercise was performed in the framework of an extensive maneuver that included the use of live fire and coordination with a large number of forces under the supervision of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
