US President Barack Obama on Tuesday chose to send a clear message to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump concerning his recurrent claims that the presidential elections are rigged, corrupt and aimed with the effort of electing Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

During a press conference on the White House’s South Lawn that the US President held with his counterpart, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Obama implored Trump to stop whining. “There is no serious person out there who would suggest somehow that you could even rig America’s elections,” Obama stated.

“I have never seen in my lifetime or in modern political history any presidential candidate trying to discredit the elections and the election process before votes have even taken place. It is unprecedented,” Obama continued alongside Renzi. “I would advise Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.”
