Amid the allegations that Moscow meddled in the 2016 US election, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused America of trying to influence the upcoming presidential election in his country, a Russian media outlet reported Thursday.

According to reports, Putin and US President Donald Trump may sit down with each other in Vietnam Friday on the sidelines of an economic summit. The Kremlin stated earlier today that the two leaders will likely meet and that the last details of the meeting are in the process of being finalized.

However, Politico reported that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson claimed that the possibility of the meeting is “still under consideration,” adding that Putin and Trump never agreed to hold a one-on-one meeting during the summit.
