Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, who is very close to President Vladmir Putin, strongly condemned the American attack upon Syria and warned that there will be a political crisis as a result. Meanwhile, Syria reported another attack from the air upon Khan Sheikhoun, where the murderous chemical attack was implemented.

According to reports from Syria, 1 woman was killed and 3 more were injured in a city near Idlib. At this stage, it is not known if chemical materials were used and who is behind the attack, although this is an area where both Russia and Syria operate. Yesterday, an attack was carried out in the same area after the Syrian Air Force renewed its operations.

Medvedev stressed that the American attack upon Syria “completely ruined relations” between the two countries. He added that the US military came “within an inch” of clashing with their forces.  He accused Washington, DC of “barely avoiding combat clashes with Russia.” He also claimed that the US violated international law.

“That’s it,” Medvedev proclaimed. “The last remaining election fog has lifted. Instead of an overworked statement about a joint fight against the biggest enemy ISIS, the Trump administration proved that it will fiercely fight against the legitimate Syrian government. Which is really sad for our now ruined relations. And which is good news for terrorists.”
