The multinational conglomerate company Samsung announced today (Friday) a recall of 2.8 million washing machines sold in the US due to a risk of injury during usage. The South Korean company received 9 inquiries from users who got injured while using the washing machine.

According to the company, the problematic washing machines have an opening on the top. Such models are dangerous because the opening can detach from the base of the machine and possibly cause injuries. Among the complaints received customers reported injuries to the jaw, shoulder and different injuries caused by the same reason.
