After a South Korean court ruled to impeach President Park Geun-hye, South Korean Defense Minister Han Min-koo warned the military about potential provocations from North Korea. The minister believes that Pyongyang will attempt to take advantage of the “unstable situations in the country and abroad.”

During a conference call he conducted with military commanders, Han said that they will most likely see “strategic or operational” provocations from North Korea soon. In recent weeks, Pyongyang has launched several ballistic missiles, irritating the U.S., South Korea and Japan.

Earlier today, JOL News reported that the South Korea Constitutional Court ordered the removal of Park from office due to her involvement in a major corruption scandal. Two people were killed when police clashed with her supporters outside of the court.
