After two suspects were arrested in connection with the vehicular attack in Stockholm yesterday, Swedish police officials told local news agencies this morning (Saturday) that explosives were discovered in the truck used in the attack. The Swedish police chief has not confirmed the report but he has stated that there is a good chance that the first suspect who was arrested was the truck driver.

On Friday night, the first suspect was arrested in northern Stockholm after four people were murdered in the terror attack. According to reports, the suspect even confessed that he was responsible for the attack. A few hours later, local news agencies reported that police officials said that another man was arrested in connection with the attack. It appears that the second suspect is connected to the first suspect.

The first suspect was arrested and taken in for questioning. He is suffering from minor injuries, which were apparently caused when the truck slammed into a busy shopping center in the city. The authorities in Stockholm added that besides the four people who were murdered in the attack, 15 people were injured.

Stockholm prosecutors stated that the first suspect is suspected of “the highest level of a terrorist crime.”
