Trump speaks about report regarding his ties with RussiaIn his first press conference since being elected as US President, Donald Trump addressed the intelligence reports, according to which the Kremlin spied on him gathering information regarding his sexual conduct. Trump claimed that this information leak is a “disgrace.”
In his first formal press conference since being elected, US President-elect Donald Trump announced who he is nominating to serve in his administration’s senior-level positions. Following yesterday’s embarrassing reports, Trump’s spokesperson said that the reports are not within an intelligence report.
“I think it’s a disgrace that information would be let out,” Trump said. “It’s all fake news. It’s phony stuff. It didn’t happen,” “It was gotten by opponents of ours. It was a group of opponents that got together. Sick people and they got together and put that crap together.”
Trump also claimed that he does not see Putin’s support as an issue, but rather an opportunity, as the US currently has “horrible relations with Russia.”
When a CNN reporter at the press conference attempted to ask a question, Trump refused to grant him the opportunity. "No, not you," said Trump. "Your organization is terrible."
