Trump promises to put America first in new video

US President-elect Donald Trump unveiled his plans for his first 100 days in the Oval Office. In a YouTube video, Trump declared that he has instructed his transition team to draft a list of executive actions he could take on his very first day in office.

In a new video released on YouTube by the US President-elect last night (Monday), Donald Trump presented the American public his plans for his first 100 days in office.

In the video, he said that he instructed his transition team to create a list of executive actions he could take on the first day of his term. During his presidential campaign, Trump spoke out against this tactic that incumbent US President Barack Obama used. “My agenda will be based on a simple core principle: putting America first,” said Trump in the video. “Whether it’s producing steel, building cars, or curing disease, I want the next generation of production and innovation to happen right here, in our great homeland: America – creating wealth and jobs for American workers.”

“These are just a few of the steps we will take to reform Washington and rebuild our middle class,” Trump continued. In the video, Trump called for action on six topics: trade, energy, regulatory curbs, national security, immigration and ethics changes.
