Trump responds to disturbing video: “Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself”

American comedian Kathy Griffin found herself in the middle of a social media and political storm after a video of her holding what looks like U.S. President Donald Trump’s severed head went viral. Trump condemned the video and Griffin apologized.

On Tuesday evening, American comedian Kathy Griffin released a video in which she is seen holding what looks like U.S. President Donald Trump’s severed head during a photo shoot with celebrity photographer Tyler Shields. In light of the controversial video, the Secret Service has decided to open an investigation into the photo shoot and Griffin.

Shortly after the video went viral and sparked a social media storm, Griffin apologized on Twitter: “I am sorry. I went too far. I was wrong.” In addition, Griffin promised that she will work to take the video down.
