Trump hints he’d win IQ competition against Tillerson

Responding to the reports about Rex Tillerson calling him a “moron,” US President Donald Trump said that he would win an IQ competition against US secretary of state. Trump, who also called the reports “fake news,” made the remarks during an interview with Forbes Magazine.

On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump responded to the reports about Secretary of State Rex Tillerson calling him a “moron.” During an interview with Forbes Magazine, Trump said: “I think it’s fake news, but if he did that, I guess we'll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”

Last week, NBC News reported that Tillerson called Trump a “moron” during a closed-door meeting and that the secretary of state was considering handing in his resignation. While Tillerson has clarified that he is not thinking about resigning, he did not directly answer reporters who asked him about the “moron” comment. However, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert stated that Tillerson “did not use that type of language to speak about the president of the United States.”

In a tweet last week, Trump said that Tillerson never said that he wants to resign and called the report “Fake News.”
