As anti-government protests in Iran continue, US President Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday that Iranians are finally realizing the corrupt actions of their regime.

"These people are finally getting wise as to how their money and wealth is being stolen and squandered on terrorism," Trump wrote. "The USA is watching very closely for human rights violations."

Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli has mocked Israel and the US for their support of the protests. "The occupying Zionist regime, the reactionary regimes in the region and the US are gleefully projecting certain scenes in their faulty minds as if something was happening in Iran," he said, according to PressTV.

Earlier on Sunday, JOL reported that at least three people were killed by the Iranian police during protests on Saturday.
