US President Donald Trump took to Twitter Friday in order to condemn the terror attack in West London in a series of tweets, urging that “loser terrorists must be dealt with in a much tougher manner.” He added. “The internet is their main recruitment tool which we must cut off & use better!”
“Another attack in London by a loser terrorist,” Trump added. “These are sick and demented people who were in the sights of Scotland Yard."
“We have made more progress in the last nine months against ISIS than the Obama Administration has made in 8 years,” Trump wrote in another tweet. “Must be proactive & nasty!”
The manhunt for the terrorist who placed the homemade bomb, which only partially exploded, on the subway train is underway while the investigation into the attack continues. In the explosion, 22 people were injured.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan said in a statement that his city will not be defeated by terrorists. “As London has proven again and again, we will never be intimidated or defeated by terrorism,” he said. “Our city utterly condemns the hideous individuals who attempt to use terror to harm us and destroy our way of life.”
Israeli officials also condemned the terror attack. Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Tzipi Hotovely wrote on Twitter: “Israel condemns the terror attack in London. We stand with you and our prayers for a quick recovery go out to the injured.”
