"I loved my previous life. I had so many things going," US President Donald Trump told Reuters in an interview yesterday (Thursday). "This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier."

Trump added that he misses the freedom he had before he entered the White House, a feeling that many presidents spoke about, usually after seven or eight years. Trump mentioned that although he did not have much privacy before being president, he is surprised how little he has now. "You're really into your own little cocoon, because you have such massive protection that you really can't go anywhere," he said.

In the past, Trump admitted his shock at how intricate the issues he is entrusted with as president are, including his ridiculed surprise regarding the complexities of healthcare. More recently, Trump stated that after briefly speaking with the Chinese president he understood that the North Korean issue is also not a simple ordeal.

Tomorrow (Saturday), the president will hold a rally in Philadelphia coinciding with the annual White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington DC.  Breaking a long-standing presidential tradition, Trump said he will not attend the event where jokes are told at the president’s and the US media’s expense.
