US President Donald Trump responded via Twitter today (Sunday) to yesterday’s deadly terror attack in London that killed at least 7 and injured 48, stating that it’s time to “stop being politically correct.”
We must stop being politically correct and get down to the business of security for our people. If we don't get smart it will only get worse— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 4, 2017
The president went on to criticize London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, who said earlier he was “grieving” for those affected and asked people to remain vigilant. "Londoners will see an increased police presence today and over the course of the next few days. There's no reason to be alarmed," Khan said.

As reported earlier by JOL, British Prime Minister Theresa May demanded that “enough is enough,” calling for normalcy and resilience in the wake of recent attacks.
“Everybody needs to go about their lives as they normally would," she said. "Our society should continue to function in accordance with our values but when it comes to taking on extremism and terrorism things need to change.”
