According to reports, U.S. President Donald Trump received a letter requesting that he speak to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas today (Wednesday) about the PA’s funding of terrorists. The letter, which was signed by senior level U.S. senators, apparently asked Trump to bring up the issue during his first meeting with Abbas and demand that the PA stop the funding on behalf of the families of Americans who were murdered in terror attack carried out by Palestinians.

The person behind the letter is Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, the founder of the Shurat HaDin law center based in Israel. Over the past years, the organization has spoken to several senior level U.S. officials about the issue. Shurat HaDin is already representing 10 American families whose loved ones were murdered by Palestinian terrorists in a lawsuit against the PA.
