Trump asks South Korean President ‘how Rocket Man is doing’ in reference to Kim Jong-un

US President Donald Trump took to his Twitter account tweeting about his recent conversation with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, surprising the world with his new nickname for North Korea’s supreme leader. “Asked him how Rocket Man is doing,” Trump said later hinting at the gas and oil sanctions to be imposed on the isolated country.

US President Donald Trump wrote on his Twitter today (Sunday) concerning North Korea’s recent controversial missile tests and mocked the country’s leader, Kim Jong-un. “I spoke with President Moon of South Korea last night,” Trump wrote.

“Asked him how Rocket Man is doing,” he added, surprising the world with his new nickname for the North Korean leader. Trump also implied that as a result of the new sanctions, “long gas lines” are taking form in North Korea.

As reported yesterday by JOL, Chinese Ambassador to Washinton Cui Tiankai called on the US to refrain from threatening North Korea after Pyongyang launched yet another missile over Japan. “Honestly, I think the United States should be doing … much more than now, so that there’s real effective international cooperation on this issue,” he told reporters. “They [the US] should do more to find effective ways to resume dialogue and negotiation.”
