Trump hopes to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian situation, "The war that never ends"President-elect Donald Trump is interviewed for the first time since he won the elections. He states how he intends to consider to keep some parts of the "Obamacare" reform and expressed his will to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
President-elect Donald Trump addressed the press for the first time since his election. In an interview to the Wall Street Journal he stated that he will reconsider certain parts of the "Obamacare" reform and expressed his will to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
About the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that Trump called "the war that never ends" he said that he hopes to craft a solution, "That’s the ultimate deal. As a deal maker, I’d like to do the deal that can’t be made, and do it for humanity’s sake.”
Although he spoke negatively on "Obamacare" throughout his campaign, Trump explained that after speaking with President Barack Obama he might consider to keep some of the sections in the reform, "I told him I will look at his suggestions, and out of respect, I will do that."
Trump also described his phone call with Hillary Clinton, saying that she was very kind and that she congratulated him on his victory. He said that he thanked her and expressed his appreciation for her.
