Yesterday (Thursday), US President Donald Trump held an interview with Reuters news and discussed the growing tensions between the countries surrounding North Korea’s nuclear program. “There is a chance that we could end up having a major, major conflict with North Korea,” Trump said. However, the US President stressed that he prefers to deal with North Korea’s nuclear threat peacefully: “We'd love to solve things diplomatically but it's very difficult.”

Trump spoke warmly of Chinese President Xi Jinping. “I believe he is trying very hard,” he told Reuters. “He certainly doesn’t want to see turmoil and death…I know he would like to be able to do something, perhaps it's possible that he can’t.”
