Trump decided not to visit Houston so as not to disturb ongoing rescue efforts in the city. Houston’s police chief said that so far, they managed to rescue approximately 3,500 people. Authorities stated that the death toll is expected to rise as rain continues to fall. This is the worst storm that Texas has seen in the last 50 years.
