Trump says administration to discuss gun laws 'as time goes by'A day after the deadly mass shooting in Las Vegas, the US President told reporters his administration will be discussing gun control policies in the future.
US President Donald Trump said Tuesday his administration will discuss gun control policies "as time goes by," following the deadly Mandalay Bay mass shooting.
On his way to Puerto Rico, Trump told reporters, "What happened in Las Vegas is in many ways a miracle. The police department has done such an incredible job, and we'll be talking about gun laws as time goes by."
He went on to describe the shooter, Stephen Paddock, as "sick." "He was a sick man, a demented man. A lot of problems I guess," Trump said. "And we're looking into him very, very seriously, but we're dealing with a very sick individual."
