A federal judge in the State of Hawaii issued an order freezing Donald Trump’s revised immigration order a few hours before it went into effect. The significance of the decision is that now after the new order was frozen, visa holders and asylum seekers will continue to be permitted to enter into the US.

“The illogic of the government’s contentions is palpable,” Federal Judge Derrick Watson wrote. “The notion that one can demonstrate animus toward any group of people only by targeting all of them at once is fundamentally flawed.”
