US admiral recommends placing interceptors in Hawaii due to North Korean threatUS Pacific Command Admiral Harry Harris updated the House Armed Services Committee about the growing threat from North Korea and recommended that interceptors be placed in Hawaii. “We want to bring Kim Jong-Un to his senses, not to his knees,” he explained.
US Pacific Command Admiral Harry Harris told Congress on Wednesday that North Korea will most likely attack America. He said that he does not share the House Armed Services Committee members’ “confidence” that Pyongyang will not attack the US once it is capable of doing so. “I have suggested that we consider putting interceptors in Hawaii that defend Hawaii directly,” added Harris.
Harris informed the House Armed Services Committee about the growing tensions with the isolated dictatorship. “We want to bring Kim Jong-Un to his senses, not to his knees,” Harris added. He also commented on the North Korean threats and said that the US is capable of protecting its naval ships and aircraft carriers.
Earlier today, JOL reported that North Korea released new documentation of its leader supervising a military exercise. This military drill was the largest military exercise ever conducted by the Korean People’s Army.
