Alabama: 11 injured during Mardi Gras parade as vehicle drives into crowd

At least 11 people were injured during a Mardi Gras parade in Alabama, three of whom are in critical condition, as a vehicle rammed into them. Just two days ago, a truck drove into a crowd celebrating at the New Orleans Mardi Gras parade.

A vehicle drove into a crowd today (Tuesday) during a Mardi Gras parade in Alabama. At least 11 people were injured in the incident and according to the spokesperson from the city, at least three of them are in critical condition. He added that the rest of the parade was cancelled. The circumstances behind the incident are still unknown.

As reported by JOL just two days ago, a truck drove through a crowd that was celebrating during the New Orleans Mardi Gras parade. 28 were injured during the incident, 12 of whom were in critical condition. Local police said that the driver had been under the influence and the possibility of this being a terror attack was ruled out.
