Watch: Daring rescue on NYC subway tracksA utility worker who saw a man falling onto the tracks jumped down from the platform to save him.
A dramatic video from a New York City subway station shows a utility worker jumping to save a man who fell onto the tracks, pulling him back to safety just moments before the train arrived.
29-year-old Jonathan Kulig, a Con Edison supervisor, was waiting for the L train at Third Avenue Station when he saw a man falling onto the tracks. He immediately jumped down from the platform and pulled the unconscious man back up.
Kulig told local media that he had taken part in "track training" which gave him "enough knowledge to know what to avoid."
