Soccer match between Israeli, Albanian national teams moved due to terror threat

In light of a terror threat, the soccer match between the Albanian and Israeli national teams will be moved to a different stadium. Local police arrested four Albanian citizens on suspicion of being ISIS supporters. During their interrogations, it was discovered that they were planning to carry out a terror attack during the upcoming match.

FIFA announced today (Tuesday) that the soccer match between the Albanian and Israeli national teams, which is scheduled for Saturday, will be moved to a different stadium. The international soccer association acceded to the Albanian Football Association’s request to move the match to a different stadium after four Albanian citizens were arrested on suspicion of supporting ISIS.

The Albanian State Police arrested the four suspects over the past few days. During their interrogations, it was discovered that they were planning to carry out a terror attack during the game between the two national teams.
