Another anti-Israel discussion within UN Security Council

It seems that another UN Security Council discussion regarding the Middle East is planned to occur just three days before US President-elect Donald Trump enters the White House. Estimates believe that the UN Security Council will adopt the conclusions being made at the Paris conference that Israel is not participating in.

The UN Security Council will soon be conducting an additional anti-Israel discussion. The meeting will be held on January 17th, a mere three days prior to US President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The discussion that was supposed to take place on January 12th has been postponed so that it will take place two days following the Paris conference, at which Israel is not expected to participate. The countries participating at the conference will most likely adopt the outline that US Secretary of State John Kerry is presenting tonight concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“We are waiting for Kerry’s speech and hope that he will return to the US’s former policy regarding direct negotiations between the parties,” Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon said this evening. “But with all due respect to the speech, we are now hearing talk about an additional decision in the UN Security Council. Anything can now pass there after what happened on Friday and we are very worried,” he added.
