Tens of thousands of Israelis are expected to travel during the upcoming Passover holiday. Israel’s Counter-terrorism Headquarters (CTH) are expected to warn Israelis traveling to Western Europe, India and Thailand against ISIS terror attempts.

According to the CTH, following ISIS’ defeats in Iraq and Syria, trained and experienced fighters are now returning to their countries of origin and there is a concern that they will attempt to perform a terrorist attack similar to the one that occurred in the Berlin Christmas market.

The main concern is that the attackers will use a ‘dirty bomb’ compiled of different chemical materials. In order to create this bomb, they do not need to smuggle any dangerous equipment from the Middle East but can just buy the basic supplies in any supermarket in Germany, England or France.

The CTH will emphasize that all Israelis going to crowded areas should be cautious and alert for unusual events.
