Young Israeli killed in Costa Rica 2 days before birthday

The Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry announced that an Israeli man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Costa Rica. Ministry officials are currently working on bringing Elad Kuperberg’s body back to Israel.

The Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry announced on Wednesday that Elad Kuperberg, a 23-year-old Israeli from Givatayim, was killed in a motorcycle accident in Costa Rica. The Kuperberg family has been informed of the tragedy. The Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry is working on bringing the young man’s body back to Israel.

“The Foreign Affairs Ministry confirms that an Israeli citizen was killed in a car accident in Costa Rica,” the ministry said in a statement. “The Department for Israelis Abroad and embassy in San José are helping the family and working to bring the body to Israel for a burial.” Kuperberg was killed just two days before his 23rd birthday.
