The White House on Monday revealed the list of senior US officials who will be attending the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem next week.

Though US President Donald Trump is not on the list, his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner will represent the Trump family at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The delegation will be led by Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan.

Other members of the delegation include Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, Trump’s Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.

Ahead of the ceremony, signs were put up on Monday in Jerusalem pointing to the direction of the new embassy. Israeli and American flags were hung as well.
