Tunisian Parliament Speaker Mohamed Ennaceur has sharply condemned six leaders of African parliaments who visited Israel on Tuesday.
The delegation included the parliament speakers of Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, Tanzania, Seychelles and South Sudan. They were hosted by their Israeli counterpart, Yuli Edelstein.
Ennaceur slammed the top diplomats' decision to visit "the occupied territories," calling their visit "a blatant violation of international treaties and an unjustified bias in favor of the Israeli side."
According to the London-based Arab daily Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, the condemnation was requested by the Palestinian ambassador to Tunisia.
