Channel 2 News has learned that during their meeting in Jerusalem today (Wednesday), US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed that their countries will work together in the UN in order to nullify the Security Council resolution against the settlements in the West Bank.

The two agreed that this is a long-term goal that will only be achieved if they join forces. The controversial resolution, UNSC Resolution 2334, was adopted in December 2016, a few weeks before US President Donald Trump was sworn in.

Earlier today, JOL News reported that Haley told Netanyahu during their meeting: “If there is something that I have zero tolerance for, it’s bullying, and the United Nations has acted with such behavior toward Israel simply because it can.”
