Many ceremonies and events in order to mark the 15th anniversary of the September 11th terror attacks were held this weekend across the US. The US Embassy in Israel held a special memorial service this morning (Sunday) at the September 11th memorial in Emek HaArazim, Jerusalem.

Over the weekend, a special march was held in memory of the 23 New York Police officers who were murdered in the World Trade Center terror attack. The police officers also honored the other 99 fellow officers who were killed as a result of diseases with which they were diagnosed after they took part in the rescue efforts.

The participants marched through Lower Manhattan until they reached the World Trade Center site. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio also participated in the event.
