Today (Tuesday), the Israel Security and Intelligence service Mossad announced the establishment of Libertad, the first technological innovation fund, through which it will attempt to recruit people who develop innovative and groundbreaking technology.

Libertad Ventures was established to connect with civilian start-up companies and entrepreneurs at the forefront of technology. In return for the equity-free investment, the Mossad will receive a “non-commercial and non-exclusive license to use the developed IP” without limiting or changing the IP. It is not interested in making a financial gain on the projects.
