The Israel Democracy Institute along with Tel Aviv University conducted a survey last week in order to find out what Israelis think about the 2016 US presidential election and the two leading candidates.

According to the survey, 54% of Israelis think that Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is likely to win the election and become the next president. Only 27% believe that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will win on Election Day.

However, the data from the survey reveals that in regards to who will be better for Israel, Israelis are evenly divided. 30% of the survey respondents said that they believe Trump would be a better president for Israel while 30% said that Clinton would be better.
