There is rage in Taiwan after high school students conducted a Nazi march. A school manager was forced to resign after pictures and videos of the event were distributed, where high school students are seen dressed in Nazi uniforms while they march and give salutes.

After there was outrage within the country and an official complaint by the official Israeli representative in Taiwan, the school punished the principal and promised to raise awareness about the Holocaust by showing videos such as Schindler’s List about the issue.

Pictures and videos of the students waving signs with swastikas and walking behind cardboard models of tanks turned viral in social media over the weekend.  One of the students was documented bursting out of the model tank and saluting with a swastika on his arm.

The event, which the school defined as a custome parade, received an angry response from the Israeli representative in Taiwan: “It is a despicable and appalling act. We are disappointed that an incident like this occurred in Taiwan.”
