The Jewish Children's Museum in Brooklyn, New York was evacuated Thursday morning over a security threat.

At about 10 a.m., one of the museum employees told police he had seen a suspicious email threatening that multiple bombs had been placed around the museum. The sender of the email claimed to belong to an unknown terrorist group.

US media reported on Tuesday that security was increased at Jewish centers across the country after the Senate signed a document calling on President Donald Trump to "act swiftly" against the rise in anti-Semitic threats.
