Mother of Jewish teen murdered in Parkland shooting begs Trump for gun controlMother of 14-year-old Alyssa Alhadeff, a Jewish teen who was murdered in the Parkland shooting, begged US President Donald Trump for gun control and to act to prevent future school shootings in an interview with CNN.
The mother of a Jewish teen who was murdered earlier this week by Nikolas Cruz at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is calling on US President Donald Trump to take action following the Parkland tragedy. In an interview with CNN, Lori Alhadeff pleaded: “President Trump, you say ‘what can you do,’ you can stop the guns from getting into these children’s hands.” She also demanded that Trump “put metal detectors at every entrance to the schools.”
In the emotional interview, Alhadeff yelled at the camera, “The gunman, a crazy person, just walks into the school, breaks down the window of my child’s door and starts shooting. Shooting her. And killing her!” Alhadeff continued, “This is not fair to our families.” She urged Trump to take action, “President Trump, please do something, do something, action, we need it now.”
