Jerry Seinfeld talks about potential ‘Seinfeld’ revival

In an interview on Tuesday, Jerry Seinfeld spoke briefly of the potential for a revival of the popular 1990s series ‘Seinfeld.’ No official announcement has been made.

Jewish actor and comedian Jerry Seinfeld told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview on her show that there was a “possibility” for a revival of the popular 1990s sitcom Seinfeld. The sitcom ran for nine seasons from 1989-1998. Seinfeld is currently starring in a show called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

The statement went viral as supporters of the Seinfeld show are hoping this possibility becomes a reality. The statement was made during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, in a discussion regarding popular shows coming back for revival seasons. No other member of the show or official has commented on the potential return.

Seinfeld recently performed a comedy show in Israel and traveled to Israel with his family. Seinfeld stated he “was very happy to take his family to Israel.”
