A young girl was hospitalized in France on Saturday after she was attacked by her classmates, according to various reports. The girl’s mother is claiming that her daughter was violently assaulted because she is Jewish.

According to the report by the National Bureau for Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, 10-year-old Ness is suffering from injuries to her stomach and ribs. She is expected to recover in 10 days. “This wasn’t the first time,” her mother said. “The children in her class have hit her many times in the past only because she is Jewish.” In light of the latest attack, Ness will be transferred to a different school.

Last week, anti-Semitic graffiti was discovered on the exterior walls of a home in the Paris suburb of Noisy-le-Grand. “Death to Jews, long live Palestine,” read the graffiti. Earlier this year, an envelope containing bullets and the message “Allahu Akbar” was discovered in the same family’s mailbox.
