Iran Nuclear Program
Iran is willing now to discuss its nuclear program with the West. Iran shows interest in being open about the nuclear program as North Korea has done. Can they be trusted? I don`t believe so. Iran will not use a nuclear weapon even if they produce one in six months. The Mullahs the the big king pin in charge of religion in the country and its economic role in the Middle East do not want to see an all out war in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia is no threat to Iran either. President Bush announced today that the U.S. has no plan to attack Iran`s nuclear facilities, and neither does Israel. Other Arab countries are now interested in having nuclear power and/or weapons. Seems like countries around the world believe having nuclear weapons is the answer to keeping other countries from attacking them. Ridiculous! JULY 2--A Kentucky woman is facing prostitution charges for allegedly trading sex for gasoline. Angela Eversole, 34, was nabbed last weekend during a police stakeout at a Days Inn, where she allegedly screwed customer Kenneth Nowak. He admitted paying for Eversole`s services, in part, with a $100 Speedway gas card. Eversole was hit with a prostitution rap and also charged with doing business (without an occupational license.) Nowak was charged with promoting prostitution. Washington DC - In a sweeping 5 1/2 to 3.14 decision with 1.3 abstaining, the United States Supreme Court handed down a ruling in the landmark Abdul the Party Clown v. U.S case, recognizing the individual rights to gun ownership by child rapists and Guantanamo detainees. The decision was immediately hailed by international human rights activists and child rape organizations.
"This is a great day for the Constitution," said Sunshine Lien of the American Civil Liberties Union, who had filed an amicus brief in the case. She said the group would petition the court to order shipments of handguns to needy prisoners at the US paramilitary notorious Guantanamo detention camp....
"This ruling helps reconcile and clarify several seemingly conflicted opinions coming from the court," said longtime court watcher Nina Totenberg of National Public Radio. "Thank God it doesn`t apply to people living in Tel Aviv."

In order to qualify for free federal weapons under the ruling, applicants would be required to provide proof of eligibility and pay a 10 dollar court filing fee.

I am very concerned with the safety of Israel. I watched on CSPAN the International Conference for a Palestinian State in Berlin, Germany. Zcipi Livni was very very effective. This woman is great! She said, that Israel needs to know what is on the other side of the border. She mentioned Gaza and the daily rocket attacks on Israel. It was not only what she said, but how she delivered her message, that was so effective. I was so glad that she was there. She started out defensively with crossed arms. The Palestinians could not play the victims to an imaginary Israeli aggressor. Then she apologized for complaining. She tried to please, as only a woman can. She clearly conveyed Israel`s good will and frustration in a very sincere and authentic manner. Tony Blair was there, with Angela Merkel, and Condi Rice. The Palestinians were given more money, as the world tried to help patiently to lift the Palestinians to a higher evolutionary state of mind, so they could become moral humans. israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday confirmed abducted soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser are dead.
The two were captured by Hezbollah two years ago in an incident which sparked the Lebanon War.
The bombshell dropped by Olmert came at the outset of a cabinet meeting which decided to go ahead with a prisoner swap.
Military and defense officials urged the government not to proceed with the swap as they believed it would lead to more abductions.
Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin and Mossad chief Meir Dagan were both in attendance at the cabinet meeting.
Opening the cabinet meeting on Sunday, the Israeli prime minister said he had deliberated `deeply` on the proposed deal. `There is no doubt that today`s discussion has special weight and is exceptionally sensitive in terms of its national and moral implications,` he said, adding, `My conclusions are not free of doubts and dilemmas.`
Twenty two ministers, including Olmert, voted for the proposal, while three opposed it (Justice Minister Daniel Friedmann, Housing Minister Ze`ev Boim, and Finance Minister Ronny Bar-On).
Before Sunday`s meeting Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz told Israel Radio, `We have an opportunity to put an end to this sad, painful story. If Israel does not look out for its sons, its sons will not look out for it.`

A senior official in the State of Hawaii`s Department of Health, Director of Communications Janice Okubo, confirms that the image published and circulated by the Obama campaign as his "birth certificate" lacks the necessary embossed seal and signature. Backing away from a quote attributed to her that the image on the campaign site was "valid," she told the St. Petersburg (Florida) Times in an article published yesterday: "I don`t know that it`s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents."
Barack Obama has claimed in writing to have a valid printed document: In the first chapter of his book Dreams From My Father, describing his origins, he wrote about finding a local Hawaiian newspaper article about his Kenyan father: "I discovered this article, folded away among my birth certificate and old vaccination forms, when I was in high school."
So where is that birth certificate? It got lost? The dog ate it? No matter. Barack Obama or an immediate family member can plunk down $10 ($11.50 if he orders online) and have Hawaii mail a certified document to him within a week or two. But more than two weeks have passed since the Obama campaign adopted the suspect, uncertified image of a purported birth document published by a left-wing blog Daily Kos, and nothing certified and nothing on paper has since has been forthcoming. Nor has there been any official comment about the issue from the campaign. They may cling to the hope -- however audacious -- that the one issue that could disqualify their man constitutionally from gaining the presidency will just go away.
Amy Hollyfield of the St. Petersburg Times, and a reporter for the paper`s "Politifact" blog, said that she has been seeking the birth certificate "for months." She was frustrated: "Hawaii birth certificates aren`t public record. Only family members can request copies, so when the campaign declined to give us one, we were stalled."
Finally, the campaign released the image (resembling the one at the top of this article). Hollyfield e-mailed it to the Hawaii Department of Health, which maintains such records, to ask if it was real.
"It`s a valid Hawaii state birth certificate," spokesman Janice Okubo told us.
Then the firestorm started.
Israel Insider contacted Okubo several days. She could not refer to Obama`s specific case, she said, because no one but an authorized family member can do so. But she did confirm that a valid "certification of live birth" would need to have an embossed seal and signature and that it can only be printed and mailed. There is no such thing as an electronic only certification.
In our previous article on this subject we published an example of a certified birth certificate of another Hawaiian citizen, Patricia DeCosta, reproduced below. The stamp and signature are reversed because the embossing is done from the back as per law, as Okubo noted is required by law.

Speaking to National Review Online, Okubo admitted that the Obama image lacked those required features but thought that perhaps the embossing was applied too lightly.
Maybe so, but all the certificates we have seen have the embossed imprint clearly visible, as well as horizontal fold marks.
There`s only one way for Obama to show he`s a natural born citizen eligible to be President: produce the paper proof.

Prop 200 passed with the support of 56 percent of all Arizona voters and 46 percent of Hispanics.
Unsurprisingly, Juan Hernandez, the open-borders chatterbox and former adviser to Vicente Fox, has turned up in McCain’s campaign.
On the two issues where Bush has been at his best, taxes and judges, McCain has sided against him. Among these are the comments by General Merrill “Tony” McPeak, Obama’s military advisor and the co-chair of his presidential campaign, that American Jews were responsible for the lack of progress in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
McPeak, a longtime anti-Israel critic, told The Oregonion newspaper that the problem was New York and Miami. “We have a large vote here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it.”

The examination of McPeak`s career, undertaken by conservative magazine American Spectator among others, revealed that the general adopted a harsh anti-Israeli line in interviews he submitted to and articles he published. According to the magazine, beyond his affinity for alcohol, which saw him detained for drunk driving a year ago, McPeak also appears to take great pleasure in slamming Israel and pro-Israel Jews.
`Large vote in favor of Israel`
In an interview with The Oregonion about five years ago, McPeak argued that the influence exerted by American Jews is responsible for the lack of progress in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. According to the general the problem was New York and Miami.
"We have a large vote here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it," he said.
In the same interview, McPeak spoke of his personal experience with Israel.
"I`ve spent a lot of time in Israel, worked at one time very closely with the Israeli Air Force as a junior officer," he said, "but that`s maybe the more cosmopolitan, liberal version of the Israeli population."
McPeak also charged that Jews and Christian Zionists manipulated American foreign policy in Iraq.
"Let`s say that one of your abiding concerns is the security of Israel as opposed to a purely American self-interest, then it would make sense to build a dozen or so bases in Iraq," he said.
`Disturbing canard`
Following the latest revelations, the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) called on Obama to remove McPeak as his military advisor and national campaign co-chairman.
"By choosing to have a military advisor and national campaign co-chairman like General McPeak, serious questions and doubts are once again being raised about Senator Obama`s positions and judgment on Middle East issues," said RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks.
"Rather than putting the blame where it belongs - on the Palestinian leadership and their continued reliance on terror, General McPeak finds it more convenient to blame American Jewry and their perceived influence," said Brooks. In his AIPAC address, Sen. Obama stated: “Let me be clear. Israel’s security is sacrosanct. It is non-negotiable.....any agreement with the Palestinian people must preserve Israel’s identity as a Jewish state, with secure, recognized and defensible borders. Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.”
Sen. Obama’s statement was understood by Israel’s friends and foes to be a clear statement against the re-division of Jerusalem. So much so, that Arab leaders blasted him for it.
But in responding today to inquiries by the Jerusalem Post, the Obama campaign stated that Sen. Obama’s position is to be correctly understood as viewing the issue of Jerusalem as a “final status issue to be negotiated by the two parties” and that Jerusalem must “remain Israel’s capital not to be divided by barbed wire and checkpoints as it was 1948-1967.”
In response to this new statement from the Obama Campaign, Nathan Diament, public policy director of the Orthodox Union, issued the following statement:
