The comfortable weather has thousands of Israelis outside their homes celebrating Sukkot in the forests, national parks and gardens.
The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that since this morning (Monday), about 70,000 people have enjoyed various outdoor locations in Israel. The majority of Israelis visited Caesarea National Park, Zippori National Park, Masada, the Banias Nature Reserve, Tel Afek National Park, Ein Gedi and Eilat's Coral Beach.

In addition, many travelers visited sites in Northern Israel. Agamon Hula has seen over 5,000 visitors since this morning. The Kinneret Authority reported that the Sea of Galilee beaches are very crowded. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority stated that about 18,000 people have visited 15 various shores along the Sea of Galilee. The Israel Nature and Park Authority initiated a special operation in order to keep the shores clean. The authority announced that any visitor who gathers 3 garbage bags full of trash will be rewarded with free parking.
