The 10th annual Tel Aviv Night Run is set to begin this evening (Tuesday) with music stages and other booths spread throughout the city. More than 25,000 runners are expected to participate in the race set to begin at 8:30 PM from the Ben Yehuda Bridge. The racing trail will pass through Tel Aviv’s main roads and major landmarks, while many of the city’s roads will be blocked off.
In preparation for the race, traffic changes will occur beginning at 7:00 PM and the race’s organizers have recommended that locals use the waze app so as not to get stuck at the road blocks. Additionally, changes in public transportation will transpire.
A majority of Ibn Gavirol Street will be blocked off in both directions, as one of the major events is to occur at Rabin Square. Part of Rothschild Boulevard will also be blocked off from Hashmonaim to HaBima Square, along with many other streets from central Tel Aviv to Park HaYarkon, where another of the Night Run’s major events is set to take place.
