The Jerusalem Beer Festival is being held for the 13th year in a row at Independence Park in Israel’s capital city. The two-day festival was founded in 2004 and has become an integral part of Jerusalem summers with over 15,000 visitors attending each year. For all the beer lovers in Israel, prepare yourselves for some new brewery launches alongside over 120 different types of beers, both brewed by established brands, such as Goldstar and Maccabi, and boutique breweries from around the world.
Besides drinking beer, visitors can expect delicious street food, a clothing and accessories market and a live beer production demonstration. Most importantly aside from the beer of course, is the live music performances set to appear at the festival including famous Israeli bands and DJs (Knessiyat HaSechel featuring HaYehudim, DJ Ben David featuring DJ OFRA, Muki featuring Nechi Nech and Rising Dust).
The beer festival will take place on August 23 and 24 between 6:00 pm-12 am. Tickets cost between 40-50 NIS and can be purchased at the Jerusalem Beer Festival’s official website. There are ticket discounts for pre-purchase, IDF soldiers, national service volunteers and students.
