Israel’s Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia have been nominated for a Grammy for creating Coldplay’s hit Up & Up video clip. The Israelis will have fierce competition from the creators of Beyoncé’s Formation clip, Leon Bridges’ River clip, Jamie XX’s Gosh clip and OK Go’s Upside Down & Inside Out clip.

Israeli video producers and directors Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia have been nominated for the 2017 Grammy Award for Best Music Video. Heymann and Muggia are on the list of nominees for creating Coldplay’s video clip for the band’s hit song Up & Up.

Big names will be competing against the Israelis including the creators of Beyoncé’s Formation clip, Leon Bridges’ River clip, Jamie XX’s Gosh clip and OK Go’s Upside Down & Inside Out clip.

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will take place on February 12, 2017 in Los Angeles. The clip that the Israeli artists created for Coldplay was first released in May and received widespread positive feedback within the music world and from fans and video clip critics.
